Bharat Coking Coal Limited reported provisional monthly production figures for September 2026, disclosing a 20.7% increase in raw coal production to 2.57 million tonnes compared to 2.13 million tonnes in the same period last year. Coking coal production rose by 21.5% to 2.49 million tonnes, while non-coking coal remained flat at 0.07 million tonnes. However, underground mine production significantly decreased by 76.6% to 0.02 million tonnes. Overburden removal decreased by 10.4% to 9.93 million cubic meters, and raw coal offtake increased by 13.7% to 3.15 million tonnes. The company's progressive raw coal production from April 2026 to September 2026 totaled 13.78 million tonnes, a 12.5% increase year-over-year.
